Terms of Service
The rules that govern your use of SlideSync.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SlideSync, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
2. Description of Service
SlideSync is an AI-powered presentation generation platform. The service enables you to create, edit, and refine slide decks through a conversational interface and export them in multiple formats including PPTX, Google Slides, and PDF.
3. Account Registration
To use SlideSync, you must sign in using Google OAuth. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. Each account is intended for use by a single individual. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform to create, store, or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the SlideSync platform.
- Abuse, overload, or interfere with the platform's APIs, infrastructure, or services.
- Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account.
- Use automated systems to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without permission.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of the content you upload and the presentations generated through your use of the platform. SlideSync does not claim any ownership rights over your content or generated decks. SlideSync retains all rights to the platform itself, including its software, design, branding, and proprietary technology.
6. Payment and Billing
SlideSync subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable subscription rate. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
7. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)
SlideSync supports a Bring Your Own Key model, allowing you to provide your own API keys for third-party AI services. When using BYOK, you are solely responsible for any costs incurred through your API key usage, maintaining the security of your keys, and complying with the terms of the respective API provider.
8. Limitation of Liability
SlideSync is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. SlideSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account through your account settings. SlideSync reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.
